In any case Ukraine and Russia have both done this with Muslim minorities too I think it’s mostly about media coverage and gaining sympathy from religious communities Algeria’s media has also started sharing more stories about Ukraine and Muslims there even though Algeria is generally more aligned with Russia This has influenced many Algerians as well Anyway I just hope this war ends soon and innocent people can finally have peace
