it's a sad story, yet it's another argument for why we need to have seniors retake their road skills test every year after a certain age.

🎶They made up their minds
And they started packing
They left before the sun came up that day
An exit to eternal summer slacking
But where were they going without ever knowing the way?🎶

The song describes it as a decision. "They drank up the wine, then they got to talking. They now had more important things to say" The song describes 2 people choosing to leave it ALL behind. So why did Tony choose to not include the tragedy of Dementia?

People in the comments keep ragging on the police. Geesh, give it a rest. No social media. The police in Arkansas did not know these folks were missing. They were grown adults and if there was no cause to keep them, then why would they? People that have or will be in trouble with the police at some point in their life will always talk ugly about them. Grow up!!! Honestly, if the couples family had noticed mental decline, it was their responsibility to not let them drive. They apparently were quite elderly and should have had their car keys taken away. Elderly + mental decline = no longer able to drive. Not the police fault!!!!
