@katiemcgowanart: I actually chose a west facing studio - my favourite time to paint is during the late afternoon when the sun is spilling directly onto my canvas like this. Somehow I understand the colour better in the sunlight. Ngl the trees / wind does add a layer of challenge 🙃 but I wouldn’t have it any other way
