It's not a handout brother, it's just a common way Indonesian shows their care. We always treat our guest with utmost respect. We were taught to bring out all the best food we have when we have guest. And it's gratifying to see them received our care. We also never expect anything back

We stayed near a school and the kids would come up to the adjoining fence and chat during their breaks. They would wave and say hello from their classrooms too.
