@raesmothers: I will say it until I’m blue in the face, adopt, don’t shop. Shopping contributes to the exploitation of these animals for monetary gain and if you have ever witnessed what is called kennel anxiety, you’d realize how heartbreaking it is to see perfectly good dogs turn into a shell of themselves due to the stress from being in a kennel. Not only does it give dogs kennel anxiety but it completely destroys their natural nervous systems due to confinement, loud environment because of the dogs barking constantly, unfamiliar smells, and being away from its owners.
