⚠️ Scanned on the Exposr app⚠️ You switched to avocado oil mayo because you thought it was cleaner. UC Davis just tested it — and 71% of avocado oil mayonnaises were adulterated with cheaper seed oils. Every single US-made avocado oil mayo tested failed. 100%. The "avocado oil" on the front label was cut with soybean, sunflower, or canola oil that wasn't disclosed on the ingredient list. You paid double for mayo that contains the exact oil you were trying to avoid. Pure avocado oil costs up to 10 times more than seed oil. The label charges the avocado oil price. The jar contains the cheap version. Lead researcher Selina Wang at UC Davis said: "If you're buying avocado oil products, it's very likely that you're not getting what you're paying for." This is the third UC Davis study in six years finding the same fraud — and the adulteration rate hasn't dropped. It's gotten worse. There are no federal purity standards for avocado oil. No mandatory testing. No penalties for putting soybean oil in a jar that says avocado. A jar of real mayo needs oil, egg, acid, and salt. These need that — plus an oil you didn't agree to, in a jar you paid a premium for, with a label that lied about what's inside. Scanned on the Exposr app
