I had muskok in inuvik when I worked up there, and also on baffin island, I am amazed at this animals resilience, it grazes and feeds for months in the dark, its a huge animal, it should be domesticated for our needs, it is simply the best survival animal, and, im not trying to offend, but is so amazing in it ls taste and,.. they are heard animals, and down south we never hear about them, they are so essential, and a slow grazier, everytime I try to explain to people things have seen or learned from living nand working in the far north no one even understands how big and great our country is, or what we have and how things are 1000s of kms north, and we should be adapting and trying to bring that south and to understand, but, its like asking for water, and people saying, we dont know what this water thing is you speak of???? and I'm like ??? WTF, we have it all around, and people in the south say?? water?? maybe we can look at it one day?? if we can make money from this water you speak of, like I am talking in a different language, and then I realized, this is what first nations go through every day, cause I have spent years up there, you don't believe, and once you do, you blame them for not explaining it properly, when all the time, they were being canadian and being polite and saying, sorry, please can I tell you again what we meant, its actually insane, the people of the north, the inuit, are the most amazing people, but nieve, and trusting, we are now just realizing how badly people were treated, and they still love canada, let's bring us all together,

Apparently it would take a Muskox 4 to 10 months (walking vs running) to get there from where they were released in Northern Quebec in the 1968.
