If you win and play good then any fan base and team would rally and support, this isn’t his first year there. There’s already been inconsistency and it’s been shown in preseason this year. Sanders is young and hungry but in Browns fashion they aren’t worried about that.

People are forgetting this man is owed guaranteed money, and Cleveland has already restructured his deal twice. There was no way they were just gonna let him ride the bench or cut him because of one press conference. Financially, that wouldn’t even make sense. Unfortunately, Watson is probably gonna have to look absolutely terrible on the field before they seriously consider making that switch to Sanders. And being that he’s coming off a major injury, I do think he deserves some grace and an opportunity to redeem himself. But one thing is obvious.. the Cleveland fanbase is taking a toll on that man mentally and emotionally. You can see it. So the real question is whether he can block all that noise out and actually go play football.
