I'm really not understanding the issue with these. Do we want Law Enforcement to have the best technology to catch criminals or do we want them riding horses again. You understand that Law Enforcement has the legal ability to track us by our phones already, right? The government told us their ability when COVID happened.

As much as I disagree with this.. I am good with Lowe’s having them.. why? They are a corporation and use security to stop would be thieves. Law enforcement? Not so much… why? Lowe’s doesn’t use the technology to spy on the whereabouts of individuals but it has been shown that law enforcement officials like using them outside their judicial rights. Easy enough explanation

I used to work at lowes... thier cameras can read the date off a quarter 250 yards away. im not exaggerating. that was in 2006.. they've probably upgraded since then.

Their self checkout cameras also scan faces with ai (I worked in self checkout and they’d literally track my body language through it)

I’ve got three right at my workplace, but I work at a correctional institution and there are three all in one triangle. Those locations make more sense to me than people just wanting to surveil people in the oddest places. Can we get SOME privacy please, because if not here better be thousand of crimes solved every 5 minutes across this country.
