@deyinka1: Sunday as a Wife — Episode 2 🤍 This episode is a little different. While I was ironing my children’s clothes yesterday, my friend called me and asked, “Have you been on the internet today?” I immediately asked, “What happened? Is Ogogo dead?” She said, “Yes, he’s dead.” And I just froze. I don’t know how to explain it, but I had this feeling before she even confirmed it. And the moment she said it, I was genuinely devastated. Ogogo was one of those actors who was such a huge part of my childhood. I never met him personally, but somehow his passing felt incredibly personal. I found myself grieving like I had lost someone I actually knew. He was laid to rest today according to Islamic rites, and honestly, I’ve been having such a difficult time processing it. But life continued around me. The children still needed me, the house still needed tending to, and I had already started filming my Sunday. So I kept going. This video is a reminder that sometimes you can be going through your normal routines while quietly carrying something heavy in your heart. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and comfort everyone who loved him. Ameen. And to everyone who grew up watching him… I know you understand this kind of loss. 🤍
