Reading the hunger games as an adult hits different! And Katniss is not a good narrator because she doesn’t realize how everyone looks up to her ! She is a teen

I love this book so much I bought the illustrated versions as well. The 3rd illustrated version comes out in October. I pre-ordered it last year when they announced it

I re-read this series every year but I’ve never read it in timeline order since the new movie is coming out I’m questioning whether I should read it that way this time

Im rereading as an adult too! I just started catching fire! This is such a quintessential ya series. I do think the writing is a bit bland but I bypass that since it's for a younger audience anyways 🤔

One of the best books I’ve ever read. I remember I got it for free cause my dad had a got a promotion and was packing the stuff up that his predecessor left behind and it was in this box of books in the corner. Even though I read every book in the box. That was the only book I can remember to this day.
