I was already struggling to find my way in life abroad when life hit me with the hardest pain I’ve ever known. I lost both my parents within 40 days. I couldn’t attend either of their burials. About seven months later, I lost my brother too. Everything in my life changed. I was carrying a pain I couldn’t even explain, while trying to somehow keep myself together. Today, I’m slowly trying to rebuild myself and find the person I used to be. I know I’ll never see them again, and that pain will always be part of me.
