I do love how you dont ever change the art style of the drawing. I've seen so many people take a drawing and just completely redraw over it and basically change the entire art piece into their own style.

the second version looks great but i really don't think that's the problem since the og art of this character doesn't have a rendering like that, if anything they could put black or white lines (og art for reference)
