I can relate to her experience a little. I was born in France, which is a multicultural country, but at my private high school in the countryside, I was the only North African person there, and my religion was different and not well accepted. That’s when I realized I was “different.” I wasn’t really bullied, but I struggled to make friends and people would ask me things like, “Why are you in France?” When they just need to know a little about their own country’s history 😭 I’ve changed a lot since then and I’m much more confident, but experiences like that stay with you ♥️

I am definitely one of Queenie's older followers! Even at my age; I still carry childhood trauma, 25 year old trama, workplace bullying trama, adulthood trama. What has helped me is my strong blind Faith. I always remember that the Joy of the Lord is my Strength. My Faith carries me. When we're young, all we want to do is blend in and be like everyone else. It can't be easy always standing out everywhere you go, especially when it's simply because of your skin colour. And the thoughtless, ignorant comments that come with that can't be easy either. Even when they're not intentionally offensive, having to explain your whole life story and educate everyone you meet on how to treat you properly must get exhausting really quickly. I'm sorry that this is a burden you've unfortunately had to carry your whole life. It sucks. But I hope you know that when people get the chance to actually know you, they'll realise that your skin colour is not the thing that makes you stand out in a crowd. It's your humour, intelligence, wit and talent that make you special. You already have a whole community of people who see that in you, and I can only hope that the people you come across at school and in business can get past their prejudices and biases and discover that part of you too. I just hope you don't have to endure too much ignorance before that happens. We love you girl. ❤️

Even to Muslim hijabi girls they give us Islamophobic looks and ask all the media propaganda shitty rhetoric. Its so hard not only to be diff but have those already made negative assumptions about u and ur faith. Not to mention the harassment and biases u get from people and professors. However, i like people who talk and ask instead of those who just assume and stay afraid.

When you go through a trauma and get hurt, that feeling can stay with you. That fear can come back in certain situations, even when you don’t realize it… you carry those emotional scars with you. They can show up in different ways and affect how you connect with people without even realizing it. I’m not saying that, as you grow up, what happened to you will just disappear or stop affecting you. But along the way, you’ll meet people who will make you feel safe, loved and understood for exactly who you are .. the beautiful girl you are, inside and out 💕 Someone who can literally light up everything around her just by being herself. 🥹 We love you so much, Queenie.
