@jabronlamesss: This happened right here in Moore County, NC and the whole situation sounds like something out of a movie. 😭 According to local reporting, a juvenile reportedly took a family member’s van Sunday afternoon and began driving at a high rate of speed through the Sinclair community near Cameron while a Moore County Sheriff’s Office unit pursued the vehicle. And apparently getting away was NOT going according to plan. 😂 During the chaos, the van reportedly struck multiple pieces of property, including at least two homes, a garage that sustained structural damage, several mailboxes and a vehicle parked in a driveway. The juvenile reportedly even drove through a garage door when first taking off. The pursuit eventually ended in the front yard of a residence at the end of South Prince Henry Way, with the van reportedly having a blown tire, a major oil leak and broken rear glass. The juvenile was then taken to Moore Regional Hospital for treatment and evaluation. But the part I cannot get over is basically taking officers on a neighborhood chase… just to end up right back where everybody knows you live. 😭 Imagine looking out your window and realizing the police chase is literally happening in your own neighborhood. No names or identifying information about the juvenile are being shared here. This is not typical for Sinclair neighborhood in Cameron nc.
