But a mistrial would mean Lindsay would have to go through all this trauma again. A mistrial wasn’t the goal here. Moving for mistrial was to put it on the record in the case the defense needs to appeal the verdict later. If I remember correctly the judge himself is Catholic (don’t quote me I’m not 100% on that part) so I am feeling like there is judicial bias here already. Red has a strong evidentiary basis for an appeal if that becomes necessary.

I honestly do not think Red actually wanted the mistrial, he’s crushing the prosecution. I think he said it so it’s in record incase they get a guilty verdict and need to file for an appeal.

His case was actually helpful to her until that last statement. He literally said that she was “informed” of what she did when she awoke. Not came to the realization, not told me from her own recall, literally from WHAT SHE WAS INFORMED
