@cliffy_jr: While sport bikes offer incredible track performance, cruisers are built to dominate street comfort. With a lower seat height, forward foot controls, and a relaxed, upright posture, cruisers let you ride for hours without aching wrists or back strain. Add in low-end torque for smooth power delivery and plenty of room for luggage, and it's clear why cruisers rule everyday road riding! #motorcycle #CruiserLife #SportbikeVsCruiser #RideInStyle #RiderComfort

I was supposed to get an R3 to start, but couldn't afford the insurance being double the cost of the bike itself. so I traded my gaming computer for a 2000 Yamaha V Star 650. despite wishing it had just a little more power for the highways, I dont regret anything.
Next I'm looking at getting a Rebel 1100 so that I have something that rides closer to a naked bike, but still is akin to a cruiser

Im picking up this as my first bike on saturday. 1997 suzuki maurader i believe 800 cc. its more power than I was looking at and its about 100 lbs heavier than say a 1996 Suzuki savage 650. but I love it. i want it. and its just going to take me a little bit more practice before im comfortably road ready.

Facts. I love sport bikes but have rheumatoid arthritis and they are too uncomfortable to ride. I ended up with a cruiser and I freaking love that bike. Feet on ground and better sitting position 👌

Unfortunately cruisers place almost all od your torso weight on your butt. If your tailbone is a bit longer than normal, or you have no butt, the seating position puts your weight right on that bone causing considerable discomfort in fairly short order.

I got a klr 650 because it's comfortable and too slow to go felony speeds. it's also a bonus that it can do dirt roads easily.
