this was already a theory way before the Simpsons just that yhe actual particle was found in 2012 by cern, in 1960s thats when it was predicted

False, the higgs boson only give mass the free elementary particles like electrons, not particles part if a atom. And most elementary particles are part of a atom.

the highs bosom particles was deducted in 1964, not 1998. also the fact that they used this specific Peter higgs equation isn't too important because by the 1970's we already knew of the highs bosom but just couldn't prove it because of current technology. The video is cool but this isn't some sort of statistical bullseye as we already knew there was only one pathways left for statistical psrticle movement already proved by both talmud and einstein through relativity, i agree this video alone is true because yes while Homer was a very smart man this wasn't some lind of statistical bullseye because thats like saying the centre point of a dart board would be worth the most points, yes, ofcourse it would, the same way the "god" particle is just an approximation of what any energetic field would gain its mass or energy from. we didn't know this before higgs proved it so as much as you would like to day he knew the truth, its just mot true becauae its just what was most plausible, and thats normally how any theoretical physics guess is, its mot some lucky bullseye
