Now that they open that can of worms I want to know exactly what she was informed of word for word. In fact they should’ve had it recorded. And who told them what to tell her is this all from Patrick and his account of everything? How do people not see how wrong this is?

It's INSANE how everyone is relying on Patrick's words as some sort of objective facts

Big Red preserved that appeal today but I think this ends in not guilty.

I think Red does not want a mistrial either but had to push it for the judge to step up.

I was really interested in what he was saying, as soon as he bought up mortal sin he lost me. how that mistrial was denied is beyond me x

I think you’re misinterpreting what he said, he stated that she initially stated she couldn’t remember when she awoke however she was then able to recall every single detail. He meant it as she was exaggerating some of the symptoms at least that is what I understood from it.

He’s extremely manipulative. When he was talking about her truthfulness in her MMPI, he said that her responses were all consistent … then said pointedly «she’s very sophisticated» 😳😡

I thought for the first bit that he seemed really knowledgeable and unbiased. Then it really went downhill. Calling her sophisticated?? Mortal sin? Consistent but alluding to her making things up? She was TOLD what happened because she couldn’t remember? Are we serious? This whole thing is absurd.

How would a mistrial help the prosecution?

Do you think he will be expelled as a witness? It is clear as day he is compromised and biased.

When the evidence proved w/o a doubt that her suicide attempt was legitimate and their own expert agreed she was bipolar w/ potential ppp, they decided to go full witch hunt mode. But to me, if they’re saying as a catholic she would have known the act wouldn’t get her/kids to heaven, literally proves she was in a psychotic state, whether it was altruistic suicide or command hallucination. I sincerely hope the prosecutors face consequences for this sort of misconduct.

There has been so many witnesses for the prosecution during this trial that had made me do a double take to see who the witness is actually supposed to be for.

My jaw was on the floor when he said that. What do you MEAN she regained consciousness and they immediately sang her “January 24th (Patrick’s Version)” 😐

Yep caught that he said ‘she couldn’t remember what happened and was told what happened’ so is he like adding to reasonable doubt that she actually did it, like that’s what I caught from it. I could be wrong and keep getting attacked for my opinions 🤣 maybe I should stop commenting 🤣

I actually listened to the testimony and thought it basically supported the defense strategy. The reference to Mortal sin etc. was clearly irresponsible and intentional. Any responsible DA would have prepared him to express his thoughts in a less inflammatory way.

Right! If you watch closely: Witness NEVER SAID LC knew “suicide was sinful,” - objection cut him off before that. BUT in her objection to the mistrial, prosecutor stated LC knew “suicide was sinful” from his testimony. How did she know that if she wasn’t intending for that to come out??? Good thing jury isn’t in the room.
