@cocoscreations.co: 🤔 Can you mix Magic Pour casting powder with Plaster of Paris? Yes! And I’m showing you exactly how I do it! In this tutorial, I’m mixing Let’s Resin Magic Pour casting powder with Plaster of Paris to see how the two work together for casting plaster figures in silicone molds. I’ll walk you through my mixing ratio, consistency, pouring process, and the finished results. If you make plaster paint kits, use silicone molds, or are looking for ways to get stronger, smoother plaster figures while stretching your Magic Pour a little further, this tutorial is for you! 😊 Mixing Ratio: 2 Cups - Magic Pour 1 Cup - Plaster of Paris (POP) 1 1/4 Cups - Water #MagicPour #PlasterOfParis #CastingPowder #PlasterCrafts #PlasterCasting

Thank you for this wonderful explanation! I loved the side by side comparison! How would the product turn out if you used 1 cup of Magic Pour and 2 cups Plaster of Paris?

I bought ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles at the dollar tree and that’s what I put my mixture in and then I just squeeze it into the molds. It goes so much faster. I can shake it up and squeeze it in there. It’s more precise. I don’t have as much drip edge or overflow.

Sorry I just came across this video and intrigued! I’ve only ever seen plaster of Paris, may I ask why you would use magic pour with it? 😊

does it make a difference if you let your molds sit in the molds overnight? should you take them out in the 60 min recommendation?

Thank you for this great tutorial. I spray my molds before pouring and after with 70% rubbing alcohol. Do you ever do that?
