I had the “pregnancy cold” during the end of my pregnancy (34 weeks) and I was coughing so hard all the time and soo congested. I was coughing so bad in bed one night that my water broke naturally and i delivered a baby girl the next day! Lol it’s absolutely brutal giving birth while deathly ill.

If you do get induced for hypertension, just know you can have a beautiful labor and vaginal delivery!! Despite every effort, I have been medically induced all 4 times, and while never my first choice, I have had great experiences each time. You’ve got this! Praying for you 🥰

I had to be induced for gestational hypertension at 37 weeks, but I had such a beautiful birth even though it was not my ideal plan!! My induction went so smoothly and I had my baby in my arms in less than 24 hours! Prayers!🤍

I didn’t have preeclampsia or gestational hypertension but I did have a 39 week induction and I just wanted to encourage you if that ends up being the path for you it can still be beautiful!! I had a wonderful birth. I was in labor for about 12.5 hours with 2 of pushing (intentionally went slow to prevent tearing) and I feel like for a first labor that wasn’t too bad!!! Just know that an induction doesn’t automatically mean your wants & birth preferences go out the window!!! 🤍

I don’t have high blood pressure and haven’t my entire pregnancy. But I’ve had a little swelling in my ankles and feet since about halfway through my pregnancy. I had to buy bigger rings on Amazon lol I’m 38 weeks. I hope you don’t have preeclampsia!!

I had preeclampsia. My symptoms included severe swelling, protein in my urine, high blood pressure, insomnia caused by severe pain in my joints and hands, and blood clotting problems. Because of the severity of my condition, I had to have an emergency C-section at 34 weeks… i was so scared 😖😖😖

I was diagnosed with gestational high blood pressure at my 37 week appointment and was induced the next day!! No preeclampsia but my OB didn’t want to risk it.

I had 3 different occasions where I went into clinic for appts and my blood pressure was high. Diagnosed with gestational hypertension (tested for preeclampsia twice and negative) and I was induced the 4th time. It was scary but all ended up ok 💙 good luck bestie, praying for a safe delivery 🙏🏻

Hiii🩵🩵 here to say that I had my baby in January and was terrified to get induced/really wanted it to happen naturally but ultimately had to get induced and it was the most amazing experience!!!

i had high blood pressure starting week 24! by 28 weeks, i was put on meds to lower it and it stayed elevated the entire time until week 37. had my induction scheduled at 37+6, but went into labor naturally at 37+1. like my water broke in a gas station and i have birth that night!!
