Leaving them out of the movies still seems like a strange choice. Plenty of opportunities to meet them, and it could’ve played into the love story. 🤷🏻♂️

One of my favorite details is they were rarely home with Elrond and Arwin instead choosing to live with Aragorn their foster brother and the Rangers specifically so they could hunt and kill orcs “forgetting never their mother’s torment in the dens of the orcs”

they're also members of the Grey Company: Aragon's own party before he participated in the fellowship. The Grey Company also fought in the battle of Pelargir Harbor and Pelennor Fields.

My personal opinion is that they left with or just after Celeborn. They stayed during the early part of Aragorn’s reign, they might have even fought with him in some of wars in the East after his crowning. Once everything had settled down, and Arwen & Aragorn were finally able to rule in peace, they then left to be reunited with their mother.

Along with Glorfindel, Tom Bombadil and the barrel wights, I wish these 2 these could have been in the films. I HAVE to think they sailed West with their grandfather…my heart cant take thinking Elrond and Celebrian were separated from all 3 of their children until the world was remade.

Wouldn't they have made the choice before though ? 🤔 I mean if they can just live 10,000 years and then choose isn't that basically negating the particulars of the choice ?
