A humanoid robot takes on the 400m obstacle race in Beijing, navigating barriers, uneven sections and repeated balance corrections under speed. You can see how difficult this really is. The robot slips, recovers, keeps moving, then has to immediately deal with the next obstacle. This is a serious test of locomotion, balance, foot placement and recovery control. Running fast is hard.
