Married 17 years. We’ve been closed. We have been open. In the last 5 years we’ve only been open with our BFF couple. To have a successful marriage built on trust you have to have open and honest conversations. They sre saying if an opportunity presents itself, lets talk and go over the pros, cons, and discuss boundries. We have to have two yeses. Anyone who can’t have these conversations with their partner… your relationship isnt as great as you think it is.

This is what I think a lot of people don't grasp about the open dialogue - as long as the people involved remain committed to their own bond, anything is really possible. Of course that can be trespassed, but trespasses are possible in any relationship, they happen in monogamous relationships all the time.
