This!! We are doing a baptism the night before. Communion during ceremony, a feet washing, and a prayer/worship moment. We know that the love we have came from God, and it grew because of him too. He is the foundation of our marriage. Are we having a nice wedding? Yes. Is it Christ centered? ABSOLUTELY.

We did a small ceremony this year and plan to throw a huge party next year, we still spent close to 10k….. just for 10 people. Dress, decor, food, cake, rings, etc. AND we still have a party to throw next year 😅

You can still have a ceremony if that’s what’s most important to you though! You can choose to not buy into a wedding and have it be that simple- a covenant with the lord- just you two and an officiant. You have choices! 🤍
