Listen, give them kisses and cuddles, let them know you have to go hunt and will be returning. Leave your clothes on the sofa or bed for them. As you walking out the door don't look back just say see you soon. It works for me everytime with my furbaby.

My baby passed two days before I returned from a 5 week trip to Asia. Even if I left that moment I wouldn’t have been able to say goodbye. I’d do anything to take turn back time. I wouldn’t wish that kind of heartbreak on anyone.
