A day barely allows you to check out and understand all of the history and fully soak in the culture. You stood where Caesar once did and so many others. Not to mention the art and architecture. I hope you go back and actually soak it in you can do that and have the adventure. Verona I did a tour where we walked the city and meshed it with Shakespeare and art. It was amazing.
