my dad had bpd and was schizophrenic, after our first ever argument and me yelling back at him me and my mom found him dead the next morning due to suicide. Bpd is so serious and I didn’t understand his issue until he died. I miss him so so much ❤️.

I have bipolar disorder 2 and I always say i am so proud of the people that have borderline personality disorder and function with their day even though their tired, sad, happy, etc. I use to cry even now I still cry when the reality hits me; that thought in the back of your head that this is forever…forever on medication forever unpredictable and that’s terrifying. Depressive episodes has always felt physically numbing or way to painful and if you don’t have it you may never understand but it’s not just sadness the sadness doesn’t come from what you think it does it comes from disappointment in yourself for not being able to get up cause it’s right there it’s sadness because you were so close to success but now you have to start over because you failed to get up it’s caring bricks on your back but it’s just the right amount to slow you down but not tumble. It’s more then sadness so it always makes me upset when people pretend they have it because you’ll never understand what it’s like to look over at your medication and realize you’ll never be the same. That one day you were fine an then boom your life changed and a person told you this is forever.

I hate others with BPD think the Niki clip is offensive. She trapped feeling things she can’t control and doesn’t understand. She’s the victim of possession. And sometimes I feel possessed by emotions. I don’t think people are saying we are demonic, I think it’s their way of explaining the whiplash they get. My struggle doesn’t down play their experience.

i strongly encourage young treatment. i got diagnosed at 19 and have been doing a lot of therapy. im at an age where my brain can be put back into place in a way. it can be cured if its early enough
