Thank you so much for posting your troubleshooting man! I've learned so much from them which is great because I'm getting myself ever so slightly more and more involved in PCBs. Literally yesterday I was trouble shooting one of our machines at work and after days of no luck I decided to just go through your troubleshooting steps and low and behold there's 1 capacitor that is blow and shorting the 24VDC to ground causing a no power issue. I was weary yesterday that I might have been doing my troubleshooting incorrect and that I was mistaken. But seeing this video today just gave me the confidence that I troubleshooting correctly and I've diagnosed the issue so thank you!! Next steps is get a replacement cap and test it out!

Did you notice the smudge near the CPU on the bottom around the two resistors (?), it's up right from the place you were checking. Looks to me like they got hot
