@theoneleggedpsych: Nothing says romantic Parisian adventure quite like getting a flat tire on your wheelchair. 🇫🇷🦽😂 So naturally, the woman with one leg had to take the Metro — stairs and all — to find a bike shop and get her wheelchair back in business. Because apparently Paris wasn’t challenging enough without a side quest. Flat fixed. Crisis averted. Back to being effortlessly glamorous in Paris. ✨🥐 But underneath the humour is something people don’t talk about much: the exhaustion of constantly having to adapt. When you have a disability, a small inconvenience doesn’t always stay small. A flat tire becomes finding an accessible route, figuring out transportation, navigating stairs, locating somewhere that can help, and coming up with Plan B (and sometimes C) on the fly. You get really, really good at adapting.
