For those saying “your phone does the same thing” Your phone tracks you because you chose to carry it and can turn off location, change permissions, or leave it at home. You didn’t consent to Flock cameras automatically scanning your plate, timestamping your location, and storing it in a searchable database every time you drive by. “But phones track you too!” isn’t the take you thought it was. Please learn the difference between using a device and being surveilled by one.
