I just wanted to come by and share a bit about Andree’s celebration of life yesterday. First let me say this, the people there for her and the family, some 50 baseball players, their parents, their grandparents, every single baseball coach to ever coach Parker were all there for him. I’ve never witnessed the amount of people there. It was standing room only in the viewing room which was very large and in the parlor area. Rocky and Parker’s Dad were very strong for the kids. Her daughter struggled, but she had Rocky’s Mom taking care of her at any given moment. Rocky’s son stood strong for his Dad and sister. Parker, himself, was so brave until the very end, but his beloved girlfriend sprang to action. It was truly a beautiful day even with some tears, it was exactly like Andree had planned.❤️❤️please continue to pray for Rocky as he transitions to be a single father, pray for Parker, Andree’s parents and all of her immediate family. I know they’ll appreciate it tremendously. Thank you from Parker’s MiMi

My dear precious Andree!!! This just brought back so much emotion from Saturday. I am still trying to figure out how I go on knowing I’ll never get those sweet texts or those impromptu phone calls. My only consolation is that I know you’re whole again and you’re with GOD and Mumsy!!! I know Mumsy guided you to Heaven and it was such an amazing reunion. Sha Mumsy!!! Just know, I loved you like my own daughter and you took a piece of my heart with you so hold on to it until I get there. I know you’re worried about the kids, especially Parker. Just know we’ve got it from here. Lane is handling this like a strong Father. We’ve all got Parker covered and so many people have sprung into action to be by his side. Kylie is doing an amazing job as I knew she would. We’ve got this Dree, I’m not going to let PMan suffer. MiMi will be right by his side and as I promised, I’m not going to allow him to forget how hard you fought and how much you loved him and how proud you were of him. You did an amazing job raising my first born grandson. He’s got your heart, but the biggest thing he’s got, is your smile. Oh how I loved your smile and I’m so thankful I’ll co to us to see it on Parker. Thank you for loving Lane and being his best friend. Take care of him from above because you know he won’t allow me to do it. I can’t wait to get my yellow butterfly and I’ll smile so proudly and remember all the memories. I love and miss you so much right now, but I’ll be OK. I promise to take care of myself, especially with my own cancer journey; I’m just gonna miss our talks one cancer patient to another, but I’ll pray to you and I know you’ll answer me. I worked with Andreè for a couple of years. I’ve followed her journey and was saddened to hear of her passing. She was always a joy to be around. She absolutely deserved better than this. Rest in peace my friend.
