I just order some stuff for my setup hopefully this don’t happen to me LOL.. I got a 12v 50ah battery running (6AWG 115A)to a 50A breaker to (8Awg 50A Connector plugs)with my 30lb trolling motor (8awg spliced to 10awg 30A wire)with (80A sealed copper Crimps)for extra safety 😂 everyone said little overkill but aye I’d rather be safe then sorry🤷♂️

Smaller wire gauge. Alligator clamps on a lifepo4 battery which NEVER get a fully secure connection. No fusing. What are we doing man?? Do it right or don’t do it at all now you’re probably gonna have to get all new wiring AND a new battery because the battery casing will melt around it.

I took a trolling motor for 15 miles on the Cheyenne River nonstop, had to swap between 4 batteries throughout the trip and by the end all the batteries were smoking hot
