my cat gets so excited when i block my knits i have to chase her off of them or build a barricade 😭 she’d be so good at being one of those farm cats who sleep on the sheep

Like I fully get what you’re saying but I use a wool wash with eucalyptus and it’s cut the farm smell to imperceptible levels! I have to be face down on my blocking mat to smell it!

Tuft woolens hand & body balm, after it full dries I cover my hands and pretty much touch every part of my sweater & it not only smells good but adds a protective layer of Lanolin! Highly recommend 💖

I use a wool wash that's LIGHTLY lavender scented. It does not make the wet wool stench better. It makes it more nauseating. But they smell nicely slightly lavendery when they're dry, so I can manage blocking sweaters in another room than my bedroom.

When blocking a sweater in the bathroom my boyfriend woke me up because he thought it smelled like fire and was worried. The smell was wool. Wet wool. I now make sure to tell him every time I block a sweater

I live in a studio and I literally only block my wool made items when I have scheduled an overnight stay at a friends place because I can’t stand the smell 😂😂😂
