Physical abuse isn’t something that should be put up. My dad is Egyptian Coptic. He was abusive and neglectful in so many ways. Leaving home was the best thing I could have done. There’s a difference between toxic and being abusive.

a lot of ur points are debatable but the last take is so wrong. parents can be toxic, abusive in a lot of unforgivable ways, absent. you don’t have or need to honor that at all. also the word “enforcing onto my kids” is so toxic. forcing anything down your kids throat will lead to them wanting to leave the house.
