Spaghetti Wrapped in Juicy Meat & Cooked in Rich Sauce Ingredients For the spaghetti: 1 pack spaghetti For the meat mixture: 300 g ground beef 1 tea glass breadcrumbs 1 egg 1 onion (grated) 2 cloves garlic (crushed) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp chili flakes For the sauce: 1 large onion 1 cup tomato sauce or 2 grated tomatoes 2 tbsp butter 1 tbsp pepper paste A pinch of cumin and chili flakes Salt to taste Instructions In a deep bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, grated onion, garlic, and spices. Knead well until it forms a smooth meat mixture. Break the spaghetti in half if you want smaller pieces, or leave it long if you prefer. Take a portion of the meat mixture and wrap it around a small bundle of spaghetti, shaping it like a kebab. Repeat with the rest. Lightly fry the prepared kebabs in a little oil until they are slightly browned. In a pot, sauté butter and chopped onion until soft. Add the tomato sauce (or grated tomatoes), pepper paste, and spices. Let it cook for a few minutes. Add enough water so the spaghetti can fully absorb it while cooking. Place the kebabs into the sauce. Cook on very low heat until the spaghetti absorbs the liquid and everything is fully cooked. (Cooking slowly is important so the inside of the meat cooks properly.) Once the liquid is absorbed, serve hot. Serving suggestion Serve with garlic yogurt on the side. Enjoy your meal! 🍝
