When I gave birth to my first child, my blood pressure was dangerously high at 200/100, and after delivery, the hospital declared me dead. As my family broke down in tears and my husband fainted from grief, I felt no pain—it just felt like I was in a deep, peaceful sleep.
During that sleep, I dreamed I was standing in a completely white room. A handsome young man, about 25 years old and 180 cm tall, dressed entirely in white, ran toward me sobbing. He cried out, "Mom, please come back! I beg you, come back! I need you so much."
Just as we were about to hug, I woke up to the sound of a baby crying intensely. Opening my eyes, I found my newborn lying on my chest, crying right against me. My mother had placed him there for one final goodbye, but instead of an ending, it became the beginning of my journey as a mother.
Everyone in the room was in shock when I woke up. I immediately pulled my baby close, and my mother whispered, "It's a boy." I looked down at his face and realized he was absolutely Handsome.
And this is us. His name is Zayn.
