Yes but having public hospitals doesn’t mean getting rid of the option for private healthcare?? In the UK we still have the option for private medical insurance, and most employers offer this to employees

Both Canada and the UK have underfunded their healthcare systems for years resulting in these countries seeing the quality of healthcare decline. Universal healthcare can work and has worked when it’s been given enough funding. Fund Universal Healthcare properly and everyone can have access to healthcare, if you underfund it (which right wing government in the UK have done from 2010 to 2024 the the system starts to fail
