apple invented mini-DVI for the first MacBook Air because back then, the standard video plug was still DVI but it was too big to fit on the small form factor of those laptops. immediately after, HDMI took off and Apple adopted it, so the mini-DVI existed for only 10 months

I still remember the 3D TV craze. There were even a couple of sporting events here in Australia that were broadcast live in 3D. Not sure why it fell of so hard, I think people just didn’t like wearing gases when they wanted to relax in front of the tele.

singling out 3.5 floppy disks to say how fast they disappear and then say that usb flash drives took over as one unit. 🤔🤔🤔 Floppy disks were the format for decades, in different sizes and capacity, just like usb drives now. The smallest usb flash drive that I remember having was 32MB.
