Crispy Beef Tacos 🌮 Lots of you have been asking about the Osta app! 🤍 Just search “Osta Recipes” on the App Store or Google Play and you’ll find it straight away. @Osta - Recipe Tracker 📖Ingredients: Beef Filling * 300g ground beef * 1 small onion, finely diced * 3 garlic cloves, minced * 1 tbsp tomato paste * 1 tsp chipotle paste * 1 tbsp smoked paprika * 1 tsp ground cumin * 1 tsp oregano * ½ tsp cayenne pepper * ½ tsp chili flakes * Salt & black pepper * 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional) * Juice of ½ lime Tacos * Flour tortillas * Vegetable oil * 1 cup shredded mozzarella * ½ cup shredded mature cheddar Chipotle Sauce * ½ cup mayonnaise * 1 tsp chipotle paste * 1 tsp lime juice * Small drizzle of honey * Pinch smoked paprika * Salt to taste Fresh Salsa * 2 tomatoes, diced * ¼ onion, finely diced * Small handful cilantro, chopped * Half cup cucumbers, diced * Juice of 1 lime * Salt & pepper Optional: * Jalapeño * Pickled onions * Shredded lettuce 👩🏻‍🍳Instructions: 1. Make the Salsa Mix all salsa ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. 2. Make the Sauce Mix all sauce ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate until needed. 3. Cook the Beef Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil. Add beef and cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until browned. Break it up and continue cooking. Add onion and cook 3 minutes. Stir in garlic, tomato paste, chipotle paste, paprika, cumin, oregano, cayenne, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute. Add Worcestershire sauce if using. Cook until the mixture is rich and mostly dry. Finish with lime juice. 4. Assemble the Tacos Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Place tortilla in the pan. Add: * thin layer of cheese * beef * little more cheese Fold tortilla over and press lightly. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Repeat with remaining tacos. 5. Serve Top with: * fresh salsa * chipotle sauce * lettuce or pickled onions if using Serve immediately while crispy.
