Been dealing with PMDD since I was 10. SSRIs don't work for me, and I'm intolerant to synthetic hormones. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

How do you get a formal diagnosis? Through your PCP? Or do you need to be referred to a specialist?

Back in like 2021 I was suuuuper depressed. I began to notice that it was like 3 weeks of hell and then one week of a little bit of clarity. Since it went away when I came out of my depression after like 9 months, I don’t think it was pmdd but man was that a really intensely awful time
