I'm so conflicted about this. It is so sacrilegious to remove their clothes from what is left of them. From a historical and scientific view it's incredible. Still feels like desicratating their graves.

this comment section is hilarious to me given that I never see this reaction to Egyptian mummies, who aren't even re-buried in family crypts like in this case but kept in museums. if it's about "respecting the dead" have the same reaction to all the dead, if not leave this be. the dead aren't using these anyway.
