@montysmansions: #GoFundMe My name is Rebecca, and I’m asking for help for myself and my dog, Monty. I moved from Washington to California without planning as well as I should have, and now I’m in an incredibly difficult position. As of tomorrow, Monty and I will be homeless unless I can get the funds for a bus ticket back to Washington, where I have sanctuary and support waiting for us. Right now, it feels like we are out of time, and I’m doing everything I can to keep us safe and get us somewhere stable. The support from this fundraiser will help cover the basics we urgently need: transportation back to Washington, temporary shelter, and food for both me and Monty along the way. Going from being a very successful and independent esthetician in LA to not having a dime to my name and losing everything, including my vehicle, has taught me so much about gratitude and appreciation for what I still have and for the people who have helped me thus far. It has felt like one step forward and two steps back, but with support, I know I can keep moving forward.
