The fact that no expert agrees with another is reasonable doubt in my opinion

I’m confused on one thing on the altruistic filicide argument. They are arguing she did it in the best interest of the children essentially because she believed they would be worse off without her. On the other hand psychosis = seeing or hearing things that are not real, holding fixed false beliefs, and having confused speech or thoughts. But isn’t this believe that the children would be better off without her literally a delusion of psychosis? And a Catholic telling the children to go with God and her believing she would also be going to heaven would be confusing thoughts because it actually goes against her religion. I feel like they’re literally proving she was in psychosis with this argument. I really hope Reddington goes down this line of questioning tomorrow. Her logic at the time of the event was not that of a clear minded person

Did they not think that presenting so many theories and conflicting testimonies would inherently create reasonable doubt? It’s like a choose your own adventure story with each witness they bring up

“They’re big dumb.” 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️I am convinced this trial, or more specifically the prosecution in this trial, will be studied for years to come in law schools everywhere as a how-to NOT try a defendant 😂

If I were on this jury, it would drive me crazy that I couldn’t ask MY OWN questions. 😂

Reddington’s closing arguments should be replaying in their opening and dissecting it piece by pieces

Also him saying that her thinking that the kids would not be cared for if she was gone is not logical. There was a whole family that cared for and loved these kids. That in and of itself is proof that she was not right in the head. So in my opinion either of his theories, acute psychosis or altruistic familiacide, show her inability to see right from wrong. 🤷🏼♀️

Ok but what about when he was saying she didn’t remember anything and then went on how memories can be manipulated.

this case never should have brought forth when they clearly can’t decide on her motive her diagnosis or what she was feeling. Interviewing her three years later like what does that even prove?

so not a legal person.. but seeing this trial makes me curious, what the process for preparing for trial looks like.. if you and notactuallygolden do another yt.. feel like that could be an interesting breakdown.. especially if it differs a bit for civil and criminal

well it also definitely contradicts the defense's theories in many ways. It's far worse for defense since he basically said her so called "psychosis" claim is highly improbable.

They also spent most of the trial saying she didn't really have depression either bc she was smiling in pictures and taking care of the kids

Also….Reddington make a comment outside of court how “mortal sin” wasn’t said just the religion topic was brought up again. And the judge didn’t mention the “mortal sin” comment during the motion for a mistrial. Did the judge and Reddington miss the fact that the witness did in fact say mortal sin??? Or are they meaning the DA didn’t say those words again?? If they did miss that, would that change the judges decision? Can it? So curious about this!!
