Your neck, chest, and arm contain a dense network of nerves—and irritation in one region can sometimes create symptoms that feel like they're coming from somewhere else. Here’s what’s happening... ⚡ The brachial plexus is a network of nerves that travels from your neck into your shoulder and arm. Along its path, these nerves pass near the scalenes, collarbone, and pec minor, where they can become irritated or compressed. ⚡ Nearby is the cervical plexus, which supplies sensation and movement throughout portions of the neck and head. ⚡ Because pain from the neck and shoulder region can overlap, nerve or soft-tissue irritation lower down may sometimes accompany symptoms that travel toward the neck and head. Jaw or facial pain, however, can have many other causes and shouldn't automatically be assumed to come from the brachial plexus. Try this: ✅ STEP 1: Check the neck Apply gentle pressure around the side of the lower neck for about 10 seconds. You're looking to see whether it reproduces your familiar symptoms—not simply whether the spot is tender. ✅ STEP 2: Check below the collarbone Apply gentle pressure around the soft tissues below the collarbone. Again, pay attention to whether your usual symptoms travel or change. ✅ STEP 3: Gently open the area Bring your arm to roughly 45°, hold onto something stable, shift forward, and turn away. Add only a very gentle head tilt for about 10 controlled repetitions. ⚠️ This should NOT create strong shooting pain, numbness, or tingling. Nerves don't respond well to aggressive stretching, so keep the movement light and controlled. The location where you FEEL pain isn't always where the irritation begins. I get this regularly along with sinus congestion. If I can clear the sinus congestion for some reason, the pain there usually alleviates. Not sure whether I’m doing something about the symptom or the source. I’ll have to try these stretches.

I got chestpain 1 day after a chestworkout, months later in my arm aswell and 2-3 months on top of that, neck and headpain and numbness on the side of my face/ jaw/ head. All on the left side. This seems pretty fitting
