A person can be manipulated through persistent gaslighting into adopting false memories or confabulating details to fill gaps in their eroded self-trust. So if Patrick was already gaslighting her which he was and feeding her drugs, she wasn’t supposed to be taking and making her feel like she was crazy.… the trust in herself is going to be next to none. So how easy would it be for her to confabulate the stories that she’s been told? Super easy.

I can tell you one thing. If I showed up to my house and my three kids were dead, and my wife was basically dead after being thrown out of a window. I would definitely not assume that she did it. My first thought would be to call the police and tell them that somebody tried to murder my family. I have never seen a case where it is more obvious that the “suspect“ is innocent.
