@agbarha.ide.wado: ELEPHANT TUSK, UBIAKO ENI: In Urhobo Language many of our dialects called it OGBAN OR EKPERE because it was converted to Trumpet. Traditionally, in Urhobo Land, it's employed in making important announcement, heralding and honouring the presence of Royals and Nobbles. In every Communities in Urhobo Land, we regards OGBAN/EKPERE as a TALKING instrument. During the burial of Royal Fathers, Prominent and Elders Urhobo people, OGBAN is recognized as it played it's significant roles. Among the women, the OGBAN has two major custodian, the OKPAKO EGHWEYA, the oldest woman and Head Of The Council and the woman who stays in her marriage till old age the OGBAN is played for.
