i did this at my grown age of 23 a few months ago lol, turned the bath on and then started up a game of the sims and forgot about it for 30 minutes. worst day of my life

my husbands oldest...almost 20 BTW. didnt "know" the clear curtain went in the tub. I told her. dad told her. everybody told her. my ceiling was leaking and I just sat there like wtf.

Honest mistake. I'm assuming the people with their comments not understanding how this could happen from your shower curtain being open, do not have standing showers. Especially if there's a washcloth or something blocking the drain it doesn't take much time for that little area to fill up with water and to leak over the edge

Honestly as an adhd adult who has done this twice get the people pets and plants secured - camped in the back yard after closing all the windows, turning on the heat full blast ran a self clean cycle on the oven too boot, bunch of recirculating fans to move that deliciously dry air through the house, we camped for three days while we toasted her dry....
