While I completely agree that flats does get clipped out of context and is regularly misinterpreted sometimes even intentionally so I do think at a certain point it comes down to him as a person failing communicate to the viewers properly. If you continually find yourself being misunderstood at a certain point it’s on you to adjust and that’s my exact issue with him. My second biggest problem is the average person can only take the “Out of context” defense so much before it feels like a way to hide from criticism.

They don’t care, It’s TikTok they’ve already made up an opinion based on the out of context clips or his tier list that are completely subjective. Once their favorite marvel cc speaks on it calling his “opinion” garbage. They know it’ll get views because of Flats already hate garnered name. I mean just look at the blue search above the comments…

Shoot you can have disagreements with content creators people. No need for the hate. Hell I'm a nobody and voiced a disagreement i had with shibby do I hate him or think he deserves hate? Hell no. I still watch his content for info and gameplay analysis. And if people dont like a content creator so much why not just block him?

So I'm an Overwatch player, but I have a few hundred hours in Rivals, and still follow a lot of streamer drama. Flats has a weird reputation, that he doesn't deserve. I believe he deserved it for a bit, but then it stuck around. He used to be a super PMA, educational streamer. He was great, he was easily one of the best OW streamers, but smaller than the titans of OW. But with OW2, he grew a lot, but, he also started to get very cynical of the game, but continued to play it. It's fine to get burnt out of a game, especially launch OW2. But he forced himself to keep playing, and he became THE streamer complaining about everything. Which started this reputation for him. But now, he has been a lot better, but the constant criticism of him still follows him. I feel bad for him, because he is a good guy, a good streamer, and knows games well enough to have good critiques of the game. Then we have people dog piling him, because he said the extremely common saying of "I don't get paid enough for this". Or people complaining that he didn't want to commentate a tournament, so he gave a "I'm not interested" price, and then they guy "exposed Flats" for that. I feel bad for Flats, he doesn't deserve a fraction of the criticism he's currently getting

I hardly ever agree with his tier lists, but that’s usually because he’s better than me, and he’s not ranking at my level. Other than that he’s just a regular dude making content that sometimes I disagree with and sometimes I don’t.

I figured it out. I hate that he's right about Mr. as much as I want a competitive balanced game I'll always be mad. it sucks because comp should feel competitive but half the games you got someone throwing and in the other half you got folks that refuse to counter the other team. and I'm mad that he's absolutely correct about the situation.
