People blaming her or saying she should’ve just gone no-contact clearly don’t understand how complicated Runch’s relationship with her mother actually is. She knows what her mother does is wrong, she hates it, and you can see the guilt she carries because of it, but at the end of the day, that’s still her mother. Her mother has such a strong hold on her mentally and emotionally that walking away isn’t as easy as people make it sound. You can’t just reduce that kind of relationship to “she should’ve left.” It’s way more complicated than that.

I don’t hate Runch but when your own father (whos useless btw) tells you ..you gotta cut ties with her, that’s the biggest sign and she ignored it. Runch also gave her mom way too many chances. She kept telling her “next time you do this…” and yet the next time came and she didn’t cut her off. Cutting people off isn’t easy but like the saying goes fool me once, shame on you ..fool me twice shame on me

People dont understand still loving your parent when they treat you bad. Its a comfort discomfort thing and its hard to leave because theres obviously still a strong attachment. Shes still hoping her mom will change because thats literally her mom. Not to mention they had a good relationship until she married Neen. Imagine your loving parent suddenly turning evil
